Switching processors

Switching is easier than you think.

Most owners stay with an expensive processor because switching sounds like a hassle. Here's exactly what it looks like, and what we handle for you.

No downtime

The changeover is scheduled around your hours, so you keep taking payments.

No surprises

We check your current contract first and go over any costs in writing before you sign.

A real person

One local contact walks you through every step, plus 24/7/365 technical support.

How it works

Five steps, and you're in control of each one

Step 1

Free statement review

Send a recent processing statement. We go through it line by line and show you what you pay today and what you could pay.

Step 2

Check your current contract

We look at your agreement for early termination fees or equipment leases, so you know the full cost of leaving before you decide.

Step 3

Apply and get approved

One short application. We help you fill it out and tell you what to expect.

Step 4

Set up your equipment

We keep compatible equipment where we can. Anything new arrives programmed and ready, and we set up around your hours.

Step 5

Go live, then close the old account

Start processing on the new account. Once it's running smoothly, close the old one in writing, and we'll tell you how.

FAQ

Questions about switching

Will I lose sales while I switch?
We schedule the changeover around your hours so you can keep taking payments the whole time. Keep your current account open until your new one is processing, then close the old one.
What about the early termination fee in my current contract?
Send us your current agreement along with your statement. We'll tell you what leaving would cost before you decide. If the switch wouldn't save you more than it costs, we'll tell you that too.
Do I need new equipment?
Not always. If your terminal or POS system is compatible, you may be able to keep it. If not, new equipment is programmed for your account before it arrives, and we walk your team through it.
What happens to my deposits during the switch?
Sales run on your old account are paid by your old processor as usual. Sales on your new account are deposited into the business bank account you choose, and we'll tell you when to expect them.
Does switching cost anything?
The rate review is free with no obligation. If you move forward, we go over any costs with you in writing before you sign anything.
How long does it take?
It depends on your business and equipment. We'll give you a realistic timeline up front, after we see your statement.

If we can't beat your current rates and fees, we'll pay you $500.* Requires a recent processing statement from your current provider. See guarantee terms.
